This project was conceived with the idea of generating four bungalows, a main house, a security house and a surf lounge inside a terrain located in the beach of Cabarete, Dominican Republic.
We merged the community aspect of the area and the views that the site offered to locate each element on the property following the client neccesities of creating a public lounge next to the beach and keeping the bungalows private.
Local flora and vernacular architecture (taina architecture) were used as an inspiration to rationalize shapes and the geometry of every element.
